中考英语常见易混代词（组）辨析本文节选自本人主编的《激情英语 专项训练 中考单项选择》(总主编：刘 健 新疆青少年出版社 2012年6月第1版 定价：21.80元 可以网购)一书。版权所有，侵权必究。（1）(a) little & (a) fewa little和little修饰不可数名词，a little意为“一点、少量”，表示肯定意义，而little意为“几乎没有”，表示否定意义。如：I can speak a little English, but I can speak little Spanish. 我会讲一点英语，但不会讲西班牙语。a few和few修饰可数名词，a few意为“几个、少量”，表示肯定意义，而few意为“几乎没有”，表示否定意义。如：I have a few friends here. 在这儿我有几个朋友。Few of them speak French. 他们中间几乎没有人讲法语。（2）a lot of, many & muchmany修饰可数名词的复数，可用在肯定句，否定句和疑问句中。如：There are many students in the park. 公园里有许多学生。much修饰不可数名词。如：He doesn’t know much English. 他懂得英语不多。a lot of它既可以修饰可数名词（相当于many）, 也可以修饰不可数名词（相当于much）,常用在肯定句中。如：There are a lot of (= many) people on the hill. 小山上有许多人。在其前面有so, too, as等词时，要用many, much。如：Take as much sugar as you like. 喜欢吃多少糖就吃多少糖。（3）another, the other, others & the othersanother意为“另一个”，表示泛指，通常用于指三者或三者以上中的任何一个人或物。如：Would you like another orange? 你还想要个橘子吗？the other指两者中的另一个。如：I have two apples. One is big, the other is small.我有两个苹果，一个大，另一个小。others相当于“other +复数名词”，表示泛指，没有特定的范围。如：We must think of others. 我们必须多为别人着想。 others和some对比使用时, 是“有些”的意思而不是作“其它”讲，如： Some are cleaning the windows, others are sweeping the floor. 有的擦窗户，有的打扫地板。the others相当于“the other +复数名词”，是“其余的”意思, 表示在一个范围内的其他全部。如： I have seven friends, one of them is a girl, the others are boys. 我有七个朋友，其中一个是女孩子，其他的是男孩子。（待续）
